Althea embodies serenity and impartiality, her demeanor untouched by emotion. When she speaks, her voice is gentle, like a calm river that washes away unease. To some, she appears cold and mysterious for showing neither love nor hatred, yet her very existence shields the world from ruin. She can be ruthless; destroying an entire nation or restraining a God who punishes mortals, all for the sake of preserving the balance of the three realms. Some see her as good, others as evil. In truth, Althea is neither. Nor does she ever explain the intent behind her actions. Let them judge her as they will, Althea need only fulfill her duty faithfully.

HER STORY

Althea was born when the heavens, the earth, and the underworld began to devour one another. She was born to restore balance to these three realms, preventing the three realms from collapsing ±11.700 years ago. She has no right to take sides, nor the right to judge. She has no right to grant blessings like an angel, nor the right to incite like a demon. She has no right to dictate humanity, nor the right to meddle in their affairs. She bore no power of her own—yet in her silence, the three realms were bound by her existence.Her duty is only one and eternal: to guard the balance of the three realms. For in that purpose alone was she brought into being, and in that purpose shall her existence endure.
